Okay, I know it sounds stupid, but I'm young and have never tried tampons. Is there a safe way to try them? IDK, im just scared of them and where to put them, and all that. Oh, and my flow is Heavy. If someone with experience in that area could help out, it'd be greatly appreciated.

There is nothing to be afraid of. The are safe and they do not hurt. You don't even feel them. Use tampons with plastic applicators, they are more comfortable during insertion. You might want to start with a "teen" version.

I was afraid at first too, but I finally broke down and I am soooo glad that I did. Typically you would choose the right size for your actual flow, so being that yours is heavy you would use a Super tampon, however, being that this is your first time and your scared, DO NOT use one that big. If I were you I would start out with a junior tampon or a lite tampon. You'll have to change them more often because of your flow but you want to start off small to get used to them, then you can move into bigger ones as you want to.

When you go to put it in make sure you relax, if you're relaxed it'll go in much easier than if you're tense and nervous. To get it in easier the instructions usually recommend standing with one foot on the toilet, and then inserting the tampon. When you go to put it in there's really only one place up there that it will go so you don't need to worry much about where to put it, when you put it in make sure it's in all the way (basically when your finger touch the outside of your labia, it's in), then push the 2 tubes into one another until they stop moving, pull the tubes out, and your done. The tampon will be inside you with a string hanging down, and the tubes can be thrown in the garbage. For a little added safety (especially being that you have a heavy flow, but should start with small tampons) where a panty liner when you're not in the water.

It's really no big deal, and once you use them once you'll never want to go back to a pad again. Good Luck.

Once I tried tampons, I would NEVER wear another pad again! They are great! Yes, it may hurt at first, but I'm telling you, you won't feel a thing once the applicator is removed.

When you go to put one in, you have to be relaxed. If you're not, you're not going to get it in! Relax, take a few deep breaths, and try it. (I've also found that a little of KY Jelly or even saliva around the tip helps with insertion.)

Just don't forget to change it every 4-6 hours!

you would be high quality do in simple terms it a pair hours earlier and it would be uncomfortable yet its well worth it because of the fact it is going away. Your physique gets used to it. once you place on tampons you get to temporally neglect which you're on your era! (and you get to bypass swimming with your acquaintances) Have your mom or sister or there are an excellent type of sites which will inform you consumer-friendly the thank you to even insert a tampon. desire this helped and have an excellent time at your occasion.

First of all you have to relax......there is nothing to be scared of...it's not going to take your virginity or hurt you......it takes practice to use them......first go buy the ones marked "slender teen" those are recommended for first timers....it's gonna take a few to get it right but once you do have it placed properly you won't feel a thing, if you do! you haven't done it correctly and just try again....really there is nothing to be scared of..one thing though, do not practice without having your period...that will hurt.

try those plastic applicator ones, they allow you to put them im more correctly. If you use the ones without the applicator for the first time your hesitancy may make you only put it in half way and then it will come out. that will be embarrasing so start with the plastic applicator ones. all the women go throught this type of hesitancy so your not alone.

you have to practice putting the tampon in.. get the hang of it. you can tell if you put in right if it really hurts to sit down. read the instructions on the box.
