Looks are always important. You can't get past that. I love brains, personally. I read somewhere in my psychology book that men and women look for different things in potential mates, and this is because of how they want their children to be:
Men want good looks and intelligence while women want financial security and sense of humour. Something like that. Oversimplified, I'm sorry. So, intelligence is very important; as is sharing a sense of humour. And personality is also important for men. That's why the last thing a man wants is a woman who makes more money than him.
Guys who ONLY want good looks are not looking for someone to love. Intelligence is very important. A guy usually wants someone who is less or as intelligent as he is (preferably the latter), so if you're the brainy type, then go for someone who's smart.

I am a girl but I am gonna answer this.
My boyfriend asks me everything. From questions about the law, to how to do something on the computer. If I wasn't a little smart I don't think I would have a boyfriend.

Unfortunately, if meeting in person, it usually takes looks to get to the brains. But if meeting per e-mail, chat room, etc. Brains is definitely the lure.

Looks are like 70% of a guy's decision.I like something in her head,though.It'll be a real pain going out with a total bimbo.I wouldn't be able to stand dumb conversation.

When I was younger it was more on looks, but now if a girl doesn't have the intellegence to challenge me I can't find them attractive.
