There is a real sick person who I met and tried to help out. For no reason she went totally over to the darkside and for last 2 nights my mom and dad's grave have been trashed. Any good ideas on how to get her to stop?? The Police have been totally worthless about this. It really hurts
to go to the graves and they have been trashed for no reason except to hurt me.
I tell you I will be more careful in who I try to help again.

she is sick, no doubts. a normal, mean person would do something else to hurt you, but not trashing graves. no one normal would do that. can imagine how painful it might be for you. police is not interested in such kinds of situations. is there anyone who keeps the cemetery?
unfortunately, you must change your tactic in order to solve the situation. all story should be much more exposed. give it to TV, or find a way how to fright that person. you could ask some friends to wait for her and when she comes to trash the grave they could tell her something that would never bring her again close to the grave of your parents.
my ideas maybe will not help you and I'm so sorry if it is a case, but I hope you'll find a solution, because what the person does is so unpleasant. Don't take it too personal, if possible. That's not done by a healthy person....so god will help her.

If you are absolutely sure this is the person involved tell them in no uncertain terms that you have been to the police and if she defiles the graves any more the police will arrest her and issue her with an asbo order.We know this is not true, but she doesn't and might be frightened off. If she still does persist though you will have to see the police again.

This may get a bit expensive so sorry in advance. is your parents' graves near the road? if so, get a night time video camera and sit in your car and video tape what she is doing and show it to the police and they will have to do something about it... I am surprised the police are not interested, this is taken very seriously, ask to speak to a ranking officer regarding this matter, if they still are not interested take it to you local paper and get some publicity, you'll soon find the police will have a different attitude then.

That is the lowest dirtiest awful thing I have ever heard of.Emma G has the right idea.Now the police wont help?Go to the County Sheriff if he can't help go to the State patrol. If that don't work then shoot the ***** No don't do that.But tell it you are going to sue her.Good luck I hope you nail her good.

if you are sure it is her have out with her and threaten her with the police to try and scare her into stopping.
she is obviously a very disturbed person.
i am disappointed to hear that the police will not help you.
if you can, go to the cemetery tonight with a camcorder to see if she shows up to do it again, that way you have evidence for the police to charge her. you could go even without a camcorder and catch her in the act.

How horrible. I suppose you could get one of those video cameras that record at night, and make sure she doesn't see you while you're doing it. It's against the law to damage a grave.

Dress up as your mother. Wait in the cemetry until after dark and when the person comes move around slowlwy and make a groaning/warning noise.
That will scare the sh-t out of them and they wont be back!!

Have you tried speaking to the cemetery attendants - maybe if they spot her they could contact the police for you. I'm sure its in their remit to report any vandalisation anyway so perhaps it would help if you could get them to report it too.
I'm so sorry for you - its the worst thing in the world to have something precious damaged by some uncaring twit.

If you have seen them recently tell whoever it is how you feel. Try and get a reason. A counselour or somethin might help. If they're aggressive take a friend but tell them how you feel. DON'T TAKE REVENGE! It will spiral into chaos. Just tell them how you feel. And no grudges, at least on your side.
