At my work we are trying new ways to display our products. Right now we never use plan-o-grams, so everything is a mess. I wanted to know where I can get planograms already made. Any ideas?

i worked at Kroger for 3 years and they had the same ones every year. If we got something different we would just substitute it for something that was of similar size.

A Plan-o-gram has to be created for the product you have and the existing rack you're going to use. As an example, Hostess would have a plan-o-gram to show the delivery people how to fill each rack in a store. The number of each product and the placement on the rack are stated clearly so that all racks are the same in all stores.

So you wouldn't be able to find a 'ready-made' planogram for your product. Here is a site which can give you a better idea of what one looks like and assist you in creating them for your company.

Response: You could get a Kroger Planogram, but then the planogram would have THEIR products and THEIR shelving.

Start by measuring the shelving and then by measuring the 'facing' of the product. Allowing for 1/8 inch on the sides, you can then see how many of y our product will fit on each shelf.

lay out the items on a desk to see how they look as each shelf is planned out. you can make Rows indicating each shelf as you move down the shelving. When you're done, y ou simply copy down the product names in order for each shelf.
