Yes, I think that a strong relationship should be able to get past something like that. There is a world of difference between kissing someone else and "real cheating".

I don't think it's a mortal sin. I would appreciate the honesty but I don't know that I would be able to trust the person. What if a year from now they sleep with someone and then they think oh well i'll just confess...i don't know it also depends on how long the relationship has been going on for.

NO. from experience no. to me once a cheeter always a cheeter. if its love that bind syou then theres nothing that can break it apart. for the spouse to kiss another person means that he/she was capable of forgetting what you two have even if it was for a split second. there should be no reason for that to happen
on the other hand some people are ok with this loose relationship type. if you are not then it should not be tolerated and you need to break it off.
if its meant to be then maybe down the road things will change

yes I forgive. I mean, to me, love is a good thing and a kiss is just a kiss. I think the world has gone a bit nuts in strictness of rules. I think deliberately hurting someone is worse.

A kiss I could forgive if it was their first time especially since he confessed.

If I observed my husband kissing somebody else i'd would desire to comprehend the inducement at the back of it first. i think of that would project believe in a marriage and you will would desire to contemplate whether he remains incredibly into the relationship. yet unfortunatley we are all human beings and have a tendancy to do stupid issues for the sake of on the spot gratification. if so i'd forgive.

he lost a game in pool to a girl that bet him a kiss. He gave her a peck on the lips he thought that was that. The girl then stalks him, get his number because its printed on the side of his truck for his business sends him text messages, she gets my number, calls me lies to me tells me she and him have been sleeping together and he stays the night at her house.
Well, he lives with me, so I would know if he didn't come home. I confronted him, he told me what happened. I forgave him.

You must forgive but he must be willing to prove himself worthy of trust again.

open relationship, none issue--we can kiss anyone we want to and do, sometime in front of one another.
