yes there is, but only if the relationship is very deep.we always show a mask to protect ourselves as well as to avoid showin our 'true'
intension.a smile however well intended is never fully honest . most hear, but few really listen.
God bless,

You'll be surprised to know how many people out there are listening, actually listening, actively listening.
You'll be surprised to know that there are people out there who are smiling without a mask, just because they want to smile...not because their lot is better than the others, but because they have decided to smile.
I don't need to read between anybody's lines, I don't need to buy any words that anyone is selling. I am true to myself, my creator and my beliefs, anything else is a self defeating exercise .
yes, think for yourself by all means and whatever is under your feet, learn to walk on it and savour the act of walking.

Yes there is, there is a choice out there but you have to open up and let people know, listen as much as you talk, do not hide behind false joys or sadness, someone can and will help if you allow it, be true to yourself. Read that smile and give it back.

I recently read a book in french called: ''Cessez d'être gentil, soyez vrai!'' by Thomas d'Ansembourg, wich means ''Stop beeing nice, be true!'' It is true that most of us try to be the nicest we can but we don't always do it sincerely. I think we do it because we're polite, because we want the other person to feel good, to feel heard. We do it because we have respect for others.
Even after reading this book, I'm not convinced that we should ALWAYS be true. Sometimes truth can hurt.
I'd like to add that all this doesn't mean that we never have true feelings, we do.
As for me, I never give false compliments to a person if I don't really mean them & feel them with all my heart.

look beyond the smile and see the feeling they have
if they smile and are carrying sadness they will still be hurting
they need to release that hurt before joy reaches them again
