Okay my friends and I are going to the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows premiere at Barnes and Noble. We decided in late February that we were going to go in costume as our nicknames (Tonks, Ron, Pansy Parkinson, and ME Angelina Johnson). I told my mom that I needed Quidditch robes, and this week she STILL hasn't bought me anything to make my robes with. I have a sewing machine and I HATE costumes, they look soooooo fake!! She has been promising me since February that she would help me make my robes. It is now July 6th and still nothing. She is trying to make me wear a costume from Wal Mart instead. She has been buying my brother all this skate crap, when instead she could be keeping the promise that she has had towards me for the last 5 months!!!!
I'm freakin pissed!! Would that make any of you mad???

Oh it gets better. That same group of friends and I are going to see the new Harry Potter movie on the 11th. She tried to get me to see it the next week instead. Ummmmm hel! no!!!!!!
Especially when my friend's dad is paying our way in.

And for everyone saying "just let it go" i need something to wear to the premieres, otherwise i will look stupid next to all my friends in their costumes and me dressed as a Muggle.

I hate it when people do that too! My mom does the same thing. Like for an example, since LAST YEAR August, I asked her if we can go to Six Flags, she says "okay we're going on the weekend".
It's the weekend. Do we go? No. Why? Oh, she doesn't have a reason.
It pisses me off most of the time. But we went last week just because there was a concert there.

The book isn't going to disappear. I just get it when I can. I have never stood in line (well i guess my dad does) and have been able to get it the first day. My dad says the lines aren't nearly as bad as Barnes and Nobles. Just go to Costco or a some other store that isn't solely a bookstore. It's cheaper and no one wears costumes there.
I mean, it is really that important? I guess if you and your friends our really looking forward to it, for 5 months I might get upset too. But you still have time, maybe if you ask your mother nicely and tell her how much it means to you (maybe throw in some fake tears. just kidding). Just ask her. I'm sure she'll be reasonable. And what about your friends parents are they are making theirs? I wouldn't worry over it too much, it'll just make you really frustrated. Think of it this way, in a couple of years it won't really matter. I'm sure other people will buy costumes too. I bet other stores have ok costumes, or you could buy some real robes and decorate them, or dye them. Buy a broom or something. I bet people won't make fun of you if you have a costume, that's ridiculous. If they do, then they're just being stupid. I'm sure everything will turn out just fine. you'll figure it out.

relatively sturdy question. Dropped capture. it is complicated whilst the bowlers been toiling for the time of the innings striving for that wicket and the possibility finally comes and the capture isn't taken. i'm used to run-outs via now having Shah, Bopara and Bell in my group

I can't really relate with the costume thing, but if my parents ignored me like that I'd be pissed.

I'd be very disappointed. but still, I'd be extremely happy to be going anyway... you lucky you. I'd gladly go without costume, as long as I could go.

Yes, I would be annoyed..but remember you probably don't do stuff you tell her you would do sometimes. Maybe she's trying to teach you a lesson? Think about it!
