My wife is nearly nine years younger than me. I believe that I could have had a girlfriend or wife, if she was the right woman and up to ten years older than me, just like you do. Age is not, and shouldn't be a barrier in a loving relationship.
The biggest differences between me and my wife is our tastes in music. I don't care for her's, but she tolerates mine.
I guess that sounds a little biased, but true none the less.

I have gone out with a man 12 years older, but I am 4 years older than my husband. He wouldn't tell me at first how old he was in case it came between us, it didn't matter 22 years ago and it doesn't matter now.

When I was younger I didn't want a g/f older than me, but now I'll go for a "cougar" that is maybe 10-15 years older than me. I am 31.
