If you can look yourself in the mirror and believe that you are a good person and worthy of love and success, then you don't need anyone else to love or accept you. And if your father can't find it in him, then it's his loss.

it could seem to you're attaining for issues that are no longer available. as much because it hurts to hearken to it, there are some issues in existence we weren't meant to have. that doesn't advise you would be able to desire to resign and get discouraged. in case you placed your objectives and expectancies to severe and you do no longer attain those objectives you're putting your self up for failure. attempt something somewhat diverse, set a purpose you recognize you could gain, one that isn't impossible. Then as quickly as you have reached that purpose, set yet another one (you recognize is available), and save going from there. i'm no longer asserting decrease your objectives so low, they seem to hassle-free, yet via doing this it is going to do 2 issues. it is going to help your self-worth and you will finally gain your objectives. sometime at a time....

My kids went through that, too. I remember days where they would sit on their bikes by the railroad tracks waiting for him to show up on his visiting day. He never did. I was the one left to pick up the pieces of broken hearts of three lovely little girls. I wish they would think about the damage they do when they break a promise. Be strong, JR, be a better man than your Dad, k?

Now you can throw in the towel and move on. Some ppl never change and you are wasting your time and energy trying.

Sometimes you have to stop trying and he will come around sometime. Any parent should accept you for who you are, just tell him how you feel and I hope it works out!!

I think that it may be time to give up. I do not think that he wants to accept you.
