...hand write notes/letters anymore?

I do because they are more personal. I still keep a note that my wife wrote me when we first met in my wallet . Plus i like to leave a note around now and then for her

Yes! It's a dying part of etiquette that shouldn't be. Writing a note or letter is so personal and thoughtful. Many people hold on to these for years as mementos. I still have notes and letters from family and friends (from years ago) that I re-read at least once a year. It takes you back in time for a bit, usually fond memories....once you see the 'handwriting' you know exactly who wrote it and you think of them. This is especially comforting after a loved one has passed on or your children have grown. I still write notes, letters to my adult children. Also, sometimes you can just express yourself better through writing a letter. More time to collect your thoughts.....

Of course. I think it's beautiful to get a handwritten letter, especially in a post card, so when sending postcards, I try to write a letter along with it.

i'd rather type a letter/notes because my writing is so horrible. i don't want the poor reader to get headache after reading my letter/notes.

Once in a while I'll write my boyfriend a little love note, but usually I just text message him.

I do. E-mails are great, but I'd rather receive a hand written letter any day.

I do it sometimes because everyone rarely gets a written note in the mail just to say Hi or I miss you. I think its cool.....or to my family away @ camp (jail).
