This is the same old poll from April (Prior to the local elections where the BNP polled less than 1% of the overall vote), with a polling sample of around 900 taken in an area where the BNP has uncharacteristically strong support. The poll also indicates a large drop in support for the policies mentioned where they were associated with the BNP. This is a largely discredited poll which was proved inaccurate by the subsequent elections.
As to whether the BNP should be given more respect - consider the following quote from a speech by BNP leader Nick Griffin to BNP activists in 2006 -
"We bang on about Islam. Why? Because to the ordinary public out there it's the thing they can understand. It's the thing the newspaper editors sell newspapers with. Some people say we should attack the Jews ... But ... we've got to get to power. It wouldn't get us anywhere other than stepping backwards.......... It would lock us in a little box; the public would think 'extremist crank lunatics, nothing to do with me.' And we wouldn't get power."
Not only is this a blatant admission of the BNP's Crypto-Fascism, it is also a clear admission of their dishonesty and attempts to mislead the public by hiding their true agenda.
The BNP represent the Fascist values that Britain fought so hard against during world war 2. Combat 18 - the paramilitary group who are closely associated with the BNP, use openly Nazi symbolism and rhetoric. The BNP have close ties with far right Neo-Nazi groups in Europe and with the KKK in the USA. Those who support the BNP in no way represent true British values or patriotism. The BNP are actually the most unpatriotic political party in the UK, since they represent values that are completely alien to the vast majority of decent British people.
Yes, The British are the most decent, well informed people on the planet. That is why the BNP will never be given more respect and will remain marginalised and vilified on the outer fringes of British politics.

Statement [1] is highly questionable. I have visited Holland quite often and find the Dutch people to be generally more decent and well-informed than Brits.
Statement [2] does not state whether those questioned were aware of the full implications of BNP policies so cannot be taken as real support for them or their policies.
Ergo, your conclusions are not supported by your 'evidence'.

So 80 % wouldnt consider voting and probably half those who would consider it wont actually do it , probably find that the same pollsters could with the right preceding questions get a 50% figure voting for greens and that won't happen either .So no you'll probably find that BNP doesnt require more respect but it should get a fair hearing which is what Democracy is about but so should any other party including Monster Raving Loony Party and any other crackpots.

The BNP have quite a lot of convictions of assualt in their leaders. The also like to promotoe things like holocaust denial.
Just becuase BNP may say things about immigration that people agree with, there's many nasty things about them that people don't.
You think you're right, I think I'm right.
Fact of the matter is, the BNP did badly in the last elections. Even their leader, Nick, called the results disappointing despite immigration being an important topic.
PS A survey of 900 out of a population of 60,000,000 is pathetic and shows nothing

No they should not !!!!!!!!
Look the BNP developed out of the National Front - They realised that skinheads beating up people would get nowhere, so they started the 'political path'.
they now wear suits - they are all clean shaven - they are polite - most have degrees.
They also start by saying things that 'anyone would not argue with'. BUT their message will get more extreme as time goes on. Hate will seep into their policies, until they are demanding more & more violent and severe measures.
DONN'T GET SUCKERED IN THEY ARE RACISTS, ALWAYS HAVE BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE.

Point 1 is simply patronising.
Point 2 is selective use of statistics.
Never thought I would see "logical" and "BNP" in the same sentence.
"BNP" and "Nazi" yes.

Here, Here!!
Come on good yeomen (and yeowomen) of Mighty England, at the next election let us put our "X" on the BNP.
Looking around I fear they are the only people who can save us and our race from total anhialation!
We've had Tory sleaze, we have stomached Labour inability and we care not for the limp risted Liberals.
I don't care for the consequences of the BNP. Open your eyes everyone and look at society under Labour.
