God Don't Make Mistakes by Jamie O'Neal is very pretty and very inspiring.
It was one of those days when she couldn't find
A single ray of sunshine
There wasn't even a cloud up in the sky
After thirteen years at the factory
They said, 'Sorry, ma'am, but we're downsizin'
That's the way life is
Good luck with the rest of it'
Pre Chorus
She looked me in the eye and said,
'This ain't the first time I've taken the fall
But lemme tell you girl what's gotten me through
It's keepin' faith through it all'
Chorus
('Cause) (Oh) (Yeah) there'll be
Dead ends and roadblocks
Tough times and hard knocks
Seems like you're always wonderin' why
You're at the right place at the wrong time
Wheels movin' but you feel stuck
Like your life's spinnin' in a big mud
When you're out there runnin' around on a wild goose chase
There's a reason to keep believin'
(Keep believin')
God don't make mistakes
2nd Verse
Everybody said you gotta give it up
You can't keep that child
It's just too tough at seventeen
You're just a baby
Well, she cried and she prayed and made up her mind
Said, 'This beautiful life that's growin' inside
Needs a chance to have a hand in God's plan'
Pre Chorus
But everyone told her they'd never get by
Why, he just turned sixteen
Made it straight to the top of his class
The captain of the football team
(Chorus Out)
There is also Believe by Brooks and Dunn
Ol' man Wrigley lived in that white house
Down the street where I grew up
Mama used to send me over with things
We struck a friendship up
We spent a few long summers
Out on his ol' porch swing
2nd Verse
Said he was in the war, went in the Navy
Lost his wife, lost his baby
Broke down and asked him one time
How you keep from goin' crazy
He said, 'I'll see my wife and son in just a little while'
I asked him what he meant
He looked at me and smiled, said
Chorus
(Lord) I raise my hands
Bow my head
(Whoa) I'm findin' more and more truth
In the words written and read
(And) (They) tell me that there's more to (life) (this)
Than just what I can see (just what I can see)
(Oh, I believe, mmm)
(I believe)
3rd Verse
A few years later I was off at college
Talkin' to Mom on the phone one night
Gettin' all caught up on the gossip
The ins and outs of the small town life
She said, 'Oh by the way, son
Ol' man Wrigley has died'
4th Verse
Later on that night
I laid there thinkin' back
Thought about a couple long, lost summers
I didn't know whether to cry or laugh
If there was ever anybody
Deserved a ticket to the other side
It'd be that sweet ol' man
Looked me in the eye, said
(Repeat Chorus)
Bridge
I can't quote the Book
The chapter or the verse
You can't tell me
It all ends
In a slow ride in a hearse
You know I'm more and more convinced
The longer that I live
Yeah, this can't be
No this can't be
No this can't be all there is
(Chorus Out)
Angels in Waiting by Tammy Cochran
1st Verse
We camped out on the livin' room floor
In our old sleepin' bags
By a make believe fire
In our tent made of covers
We'd talk for hours
My two brothers and me
Keepin' the faith
Racin' with destiny
Chorus
They were angels in waiting
Waiting for wings to fly from this world
Away from their pain
Treasuring time
'Til time came to leave
Leave them behind
Sweet memories
Angels in waiting
Angels in waiting for wings
2nd Verse
They always knew
They'd never grow old
Sometimes the body is weaker than the soul
In their darkest hour
I made a promise
I will always keep
I'll give them life
I'll let them live through me
(Chorus Out)
Me and God by Josh Turner
1st Verse
There ain't nothin' that can't be done
By me and God
Ain't nobody gonna come between
Me and God
One day we'll live together
Where the angels trod
Me and God
2nd Verse
Early in the mornin'
Talkin' it over
Me and God
Late at night
Talkin' it over
Me and God
You could say we're like
Two peas in a pod
Me and God
Chorus
He's my father
(And) He's my friend
The beginnin' and the end
He rules the world
With the staff and the rod
We're a team
Me and God
3rd Verse
I am weak and, he is strong
Me and God
He forgives me when I'm wrong
Me and God
He's the one I lean on
When life gets hard
Me and God

I know a lot of country people don't like bluegrass, but there are a gazillion bluegrass gospel songs. For some mainstream ones, check out Alison Krauss: "The Palm of His Hand" on her Now That I've Found You greatest hits-type CD, or "Will There Be Any Stars" that she sings on the Cox Family CD I Know Who Holds Tomorrow.
I LOVE bluegrass gospel!

I was under the impression that every country song has Jesus making an appearance at least once. How about anything by Johnny Cash in the later years?

Life is Like A Mountain Railway with an engineer so brave we must make the run sucessful from the cradle to the grave, watch the curves the hills and tunnels never falter never fail, keep your hand upon the throttle and you eyes upon the rails.

Long Black Train, but that is male country and Josh Turner has a very deep voice.
God's Will - Martina McBride is an excellent song...
