It is somewhat hard to explain so bare with me. You know that you have found your soul mate when there is a golden light around them as they enter the room. Everything else disappears and the only thing you hear is the sweet sounds of their voice. You break out into a cold sweat and you tend to somewhat blackout without blacking out. It may be different for you but I hope this helps.
You know that you love someone when they do something or say something that would normally drive you crazy, yet it doesn't bother you when it comes from them. Good luck to you.

I know I've found the one (currently with her and for life) because
1) I rather see her happy even if it causes me pain/annoyance/anger in any way.
2) I put her needs before mine.
3) I don't know how else to put it, but as others have touched on it, you just KNOW.
4) When I realised this is the last person I want to see when going to bed, and the first when I wake up.
5) All she has to do to put a smile on my face is something so simple like speaking to her on the phone or even just seeing her face.

Well anyway as others have suggested, you just know and feel deep down when you've found the one, and I thank God that I have because my partner is a beautiful person inside and out. Hope this helps.

a person can have several soul mates in life....sometimes in past lives they were children together, sometimes they were brother and sister or of the same sex, sometimes one was a parent and the other a child, sometimes they were two parents, and sometimes it was even someone that was just in the neighborhood, or even someone that saved your life or you saved theirs...that they feel a need to find you again, or you them. You don't need to marry your soul mate, you know, they are meely in your life to make you feel comfortable and not alone.
