It's not just between the ages of 12-15 that matter. You shouldn't even think about having sex and getting pregnant until you are 18, out of high school, and legally an adult so you can handle your own problems.

In the old days like after the USA won their Independence from England until the 1960s it was common for 12 year old women to get married as soon as they had their first period to 12 year old boys and start making babies and working. The women stayed in the home barefoot and pregnant half the time while the boys provided a living for their wives and kids. Then after the feminists took over the USA that didn't happen anymore and the government decided to say that a girl wasn't an adult when she got her first period and a boy wasn't an adult when he went through puberty anymore. The reason girls get pregnant out of marriage now is because the media and society have made it ok to have sex outside of marriage and the USA isn't a Godly nation anymore otherwise people wouldn't be having sex outside of marriage. In the USA kids have babies because your considered a loser if you don't have sex by the time you are 14 years old. The role models that women have now a days with naked women walking down the street and naked women on the beach and commercials full of naked women at tanning beds and female models walking around naked on TV and the sex in the soap operas and on movies and the naked HIV women on MTV and other music channels is what these young women grow up watching so naturally they want to be "Cool" and have sex just like their role models and dress like hookers in order to get raped. Their friends either just had a baby or are pregnant so they want to try it as well, they think it's the only way to get respect from boys, they think the boy they like won't like them if they don't have sex with 40 or more guys by the time they are in high school and there are some who think they won't get AIDS or pregnant the first time they have sex.

Good for you. Lots of people say they'll remain virgins until marriage. Seriously, how many of them are pure when they reach the altar? Things happen between now and then, things you can't foresee. Like your boyfriend threatening to break up with you if you don't do it or peer pressure. Sure you think that you wont give in, but things are different when you're actually in that situation. And what about if it wasn't consensual? Now, some teens do use condoms but not correctly. And some girls take the pill but not regularly.

They don't have to get pregnant, and most of them don't even plan the pregnancy. I mean i hate to say it but sh!t happens nowadays. (and it sounds so appropriate) Its just a stupid mistake that they are stuck with for the rest of their lives. You don't really think about the consequences of your actions until afterward. Then you think about how you can fix it, but you can't. I've had unprotected sex 2 times (same girl), and i still wonder today what if the girl i had sex with had gotten pregnant. But i sure as hell wasn't thinking about it before hand. But you do have to give respect to the teen parents that are taking care of their children.

these young girls are setting out to get pregnant that just happens. they are having sex to gain love and affection. which they get while having sex, what they really need is parents who are involved in their lives. i wasnt even interested in boys til i was 16 and still didnt have sex til i was much older than that these girls are searching from love and think if they open their legs they are getting the love they soo desperately want. only problem is once the guy sleeps with them he is gone he got what he wanted. i say thr parents are the biggest blame. if parents took rime out of their own lives to spend time with their kids fewer teens would have sex and get pregnant.
parents spend time with your teenagers ( boys too) the boy who has sex with your little girl is to blame too, when my son is older he will know that if he has sex and she gets pregnant he wont be allowed to run he will get a job and help raise the child. i can only hope that the lessons i teach him now will keep him from doing something stupid. he will also be ble to come and ask for condoms with no fear too i want and have a great relationship with him now and hes only 4

I don't know, but it is crazy. They see it in the movies and on tv and then they think wow I wanna do that too. It looks so great. Well the part that isn't so great is when you get pregnant and tell that boy and then heis nowhere to be found. You have to tell your parents and then they'll get at you and then one day has costed you a whole lifetime of changes

Wow.
I never knew that.
But of course I wouldn't know that because I'm 12 1/2 and still a virgin. And I plan to be a virgin until I am married and decided to have sex.

I don't know, but I'm sick of reading these questions. It's annoying. (Not questions like yours, but the "I'm 12 and I'm pregnant" questions.)
By the way, I'm 14 also, and have never even kissed a boy.

People don't have to get pregnant. It usually happens because they do not use any form of birth control, or they use it correctly. I congratulate you on having a good head on your shoulders. :)
