I love places like Lincoln Park in Chicago, Soulard in St. Louis, or Royal Oak in Denver. Is there an area like that in Denver? Lots of restaurants and bars...a young area.

Any Place downtown. Don't bother with the cheap Colfax crap. You'll hate it. There is a student hostile on Champa if you're on a budget. Also, give Boulder a shot.

The hyatt downtown. Just a few miles from several hot areas (lodo wash park, etc.)
The nightclubs are nearby too.

Hotel Monaco, Hotel Teatro, or the Jet hotel are all great boutique hotels in Denver. I've stayed at the Monaco and loved it.

Avoid colfax! Try the Adams Mark it's right of 16th street mall
