When neighborhoods are built, they are "addressed" from a grid usually made by the county. Where houses are close together, the address usually only changes by the next even or odd number. Example: 2209 then 2211 then 2213. Usually even numbers on one side of the street and odd on the other. An area that may have been layed out for 30 foot wide lots may have been divided into 60 foot lots so the non-used addresses are eliminated. My old house had 330 foot frontage and I had the only 3600 series address.
