Now I know most of you guys would not consider that a problem, but all of these are acutually from some singles website and seem to be mass generated. Is there any way to stop this?

Go into your profile and "account settings", then "privacy settings" set how you wish...

There is no way for them to stop adding you...
But everytime you get an invite, just click SPAM...
99% of those profiles are fake, and some of them even have viruses, and all of them usually have hot pictures of hot gals to temp you to add or go to their link or profile...
You can also report it as abuse...
If you want to know how they add you, its because when you click BROWSE in myspace you can see who is ONLINE or who just LOGGED ON, and these people make MYSPACE bots which browse all of the online users and send them these invites...
I get about 200 profiles deleted every 2 weeks because I take the time to report them, I have a quick way of doing it ;).
Beware some of those profiles, some ask you to download a FILE to be able to veiw their profile... which actually is a virus... SO DONT DO IT< and dont add anyone other than people you know.

Yes you can change it to only people who know your last name , may send you email. On the first page click on account settings. Then click on Privacy settings and scroll down and click on only allow people who know my last name to email me..Now this only works if you don't have your last name showing.

no dont accept their just spam theyy happen a lot especially when u get friends and start leaving comments so just dont request them there is no way to stop

Under your account settings, you have privacy options and I think one choice is to only those to add you that know either your last name or real email address...something like that.

This is a new feature to myspace. When you get an add, click "Mark As Spam".
Or when you get a message from them, click "Spam."
Its that simple :)

yeah, I get spam friend requests like every day.
just set your profile so that people have to enter your last name to add you as a friend.

Just report them... and MySpace will eventually delete their accounts...
