One year. That is the standard.

Infants should have formulas or breast milk until they are at least one for nutritional reasons. Breastfeeding can continue longer but formula shouldn't because it is high calorie.

You should not start any cows milk until after the first birthday according to the American Academy of Pediatrics
Reasons: cow's milk is low in iron and iron is needed for growing infants hence the need for iron fortified formulas and breast milk in a babies diet. Also cows milk can induce allergies if introduced earlier and can be constipating and harder to digest

After age one you can use whole milk, after age 2y you can switch to 2% milk if there is a history of high cholesterol in the immediate family but the fat in the milk is important for brain developement.

At 1 year we began introducing it. Mixing cow's milk with formula gradually until she was on 100% cow milk. Their digestive tract just is not mature enough for cow's milk until 1 year old.

No less than 12 months old. But you can introduce some dairy before then such as eggs, cheese, or yogurt. The source below had a great guide from birth to 36 months for feeding your baby/toddler.

About 2 hours after birth. I might add that your pediatrician probably was introduced to cows milk about the same time as my kid. Neither self destructed.

Depends on your pediatrician. All my children began at 9 months without any problems. I didn't just switch over 100%. I would gage by the lines on the bottle and started with a 2/6 ratio and then increase it each day.
