I acted like a squirrel during an improv skit once. So if he's just acting or playing around (or a child, or even someone older being goofy) I think it's healthy.
On the other hand, I knew an autistic boy in HS whose goal in life was to be a squirrel.
Need more info to make an informed decision.

It matters how old he is. If he's a little kid, like 1-4 years old, just let him be, he's only having fun. But if he's older, then you might want to tell your parents because he might have something wrong with him. If he's 5 just let it slide.
