You need to give us more information. Especially age wise.
I'm a bit cross - I went to the shop to buy a friend's daughter a magazine - she is 12. The range appears to be from age 2 -6 and then from 17 onwards. Doesn't seem to be much inbetween.
So here's a story I was working on - I can give it to you for free. Rich long lost daughter of divorced parents returns to her father's house, (Daddy is an aging rock star) is given a "kitten" who turns out to be a panther kitten. He gets into all sorts of mischief - accidentally eats the persian cat, belonging to the wicked stepmother, etc etc.
Any good?
