Really? I didn't hear that! Crazy! My friends and I had a list of possible end lines. :)

I know I just saw that on mugglenet. She says it's still torwards the end so the sentence itself is still there I'm assuming. I'm not too worried. Jo knows what she's doing, it probably didn't end the series the way she felt was right...I trust her.
EDIT: And to all the people who don't know what they're talking about, JK Rowling recently did an interview and said that scar wasn't the last word of the book anymore when she had originally said that it was. It's not a crazy rumor!

There's the proof!!!

That's what you get for trying to out-guess J K Rawlings. When Borders put out stickers that say "Snape is loyal" and "Snape will betray," I sweet-talked them into giving me one of each, rather than choose. I do not want to know, I do not even want to guess, what I will get when I go to the party and pick up my first edition on the first day of release. I want to carry it home and savor it slowly, as it will be the last one for a long time, perhaps forever.
I would rather speculate on how long it will take Rawlings to be persuaded to sell the rights to the characters so that fans can publish the life and times of these characters as they go out in the magical world, and the story of the continuing life of Hogwarts, perhaps also of Durmstrang and Beaubatons.
And someday SOMEBODY must write "Hogwarts, a History." After all, Hermione has been quoting it for years! Perhaps Rawlings will grow bored in her retirement and decide to write it as a fund-raiser for one of her pet charities. She has several, you know. Check out her web site.

That's good news, that might mean the last chapter isn't going to be about Harry and he might not have to die.

JKR said that, it's in the last words but it's not the last anymore. It is true, see it for yourselves.

I'm sorry, how is this an emergency?
Don't read the rumours posted on various internet sites, and this kind of 'emergency' can be avoided. Just wait for the book to come out like the rest of us normal people.

It's okay, we're gonna live. I imagine she has thought of a very nice way to end the series.
