If you are wanting SEX abnormalities there is
in males
Kleinfelter syndrome where the male is XXY, XXXY, XXXXY etc..... so its 47+ chromosomes
XYY syndrome ("Super males")

Females
Turners Sydrome XO...so its 45 chromomes
meta females or triple X females XXX, XXXX, XXXXX

autosomal conditions apart from Down syndrome ( trisomy of chromosome 21) you can get problems ( trisomy) of chromosomes 8, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 18 eg Turners Syndrome, Patau syndrome, but most are fatal soon after birth if not before.

It sounds like you are describing "Trisomy 21" - when there is an extra copy of the 21st chromosome. The result is Down's Syndrome. I think that they will be able to eliminate this soon by destroying the extra chromosome. This would not kill the fetus - only allow it to be born without the health burden's of the consequences of Down's Syndrome (and there are several).
