Is there any information available how dense the ion particle distribution in space is, caused by the sun ?

It is very low. The Traveling Wave Tube that we have on the space craft do not have a glass envelope on them as the vacuum is better there than we can produce on earth. The Beta particles are attracted to the north pole and make it negative. The Alpha particles are attracted to the south pole and make it positive. This creates the electric charge that holds the O3 in the ozone layer.
