Curtis "50-Cent" Jackson turns 32 years old today. Isn't it time for him to get a "real job?"

It depends on the level of skill. 50 cent is a crap rapper so he shouldn't have started to begin with.

Chronologically he may be 32, but when he raps--I'm thinking it makes him feel like he's 18 again. And he's making $$$$..so I probably wouldn't stop if I were him.

I just wish the folks who do rap would not have most of the population of teenagers thinking that everyone can get a job in the industry and make as much $$ and have as much "bling-bling" as they do--all for talking about the current 'situations,' smoking dope, saying women are 'booty,' and other derogatory-type of comments.

I do applaud rap that helps point attention to the plight that folks suffer 'in the hood,' etc...but that can be done without glamourizing weed, calling women 'a piece, etc.,' and encouraging violence.

It would be nice for folks like 50 cent to use their money and get their education to set an example for the rest of the population who can't make a living by rapping. It would go a LONG WAY with kids who idolize rap stars.

And while we're talking about rap stars, CAN EVERYONE JUST PULL UP THEIR PANTS and stop walking around with the crotch of their jeans at their knees????

I think for the type of music he does, yes he is a little old. You don't hear much from Snoop these days either. At this point, he should stick with marketing his vitamin water and being a producer. He has enough now where he can franchise and do other things that will make him more money while doing less work. If he were an opera singer, he would still be in his prime. However, since he is in the business where the "normies" try to boost their own ego by shooting or starting fights with him.. he is a little old. With age comes responsibility and acceptance.

lol - great question!

I guess Hip Hop is still new enough that we haven't had geriatric rappers yet, but maybe it is coming.

Snoop Dogg is 36 . . . Dr. Dre is 42 - perhaps these will be the "Tom Jones" and "Frank Sinatra" of rap!

lol

No, he's not too old. As long as he's making money why not. If you were him and you were still making money wouldn't you?

That doesn't mean I am gonna buy his next album:)

No, I do not think that it is. Dr. Dre is past 40 now.
