That's ridiculous. Next time my kid brother burps at the dinner table, I'm calling 911.

Good morning....I'm sorry but that's a joke! That student must have shown some type of aggression in which the news media didn't state and if not I hope the parents of this student sues the local authorities. That is utterly ridiculous. If this is a school rule about vulgar profanity I would think they would take the discipline into their own hands instead of the police department. This is nutz! Now what could have happened is this student had done something wrong to where the teacher and/or the Principal was trying to use the school disciplinary actions and the student used this profanity against them in the wrongful way and possibly threatened them in some way. Schools these days don't take threats lightly at least not here in Illinois. I imagine that this particular student had done more than what the media is stating to where this is why the local authorities were called in. You know how sometimes the media will either delete or fabricate a story so it makes the situation sound better to the readers. Have a great day!

I applaud the school for enforcing the law. It should set an example to the other students. I wouldn't want my kids in a learning institute where kids are dropping the "F" bomb all day.. it dumbs down the academics and prevents kids from learning. Without rules, there is chaos. Any classroom can only move as fast as the slowest student..so if you allow this kind of behavior..everyone suffers.

freedom of speech has good and bad outcomes. I get really irritated when some pinhead trys to tell me HOW and or WHAT to say. Political Correctness in a liberal tool to strip away our constitutional rights.
