In my case I believe confidence is to believe in yourself that ability to be able to handle different hings on your own but fear it is the same as shyness you can't talk infront of people you handle a task on your own that is you don' have confidence in you.So in my opinion the two words do not have any connection at all may they are opposite that is Confidence=Fear.

My freind first of all, each one is the opposite of the other. One to have confidence its all about where you up from, if you grew up on spoon feeding then you are going to grow when you're damn coward. Take an example of the children that are ever facing wars. Those kids grow up when their hearts are strongly determined and less fear in them. Before any step taken, if you preparing to eat an adala friut you should consider the size of your ***.

Confidence appears to me to derive from relaxing about issues of physical, emotional, and psychological security. Acceptance that life's an adventure, and whatever comes is a welcome part of that adventure.

Fear is a choice to be preoccupied with one, or all aspects of personal safety.

In that sense, fear and confidence seem to be related.

Confidence comes from knowledge of the situation and knowledge that you can handle it. Fear comes from the lack of knowledge whether it is of the situation or your ability.

The other from an inner feeling of insecurity.

The thing you always need to remember is the worst thing that can happen is they will kill you. How bad can that be?
