Initial reaction is of course I would in a minute. But if they are kidnapping my daughter, then who am I.
If I am a high ranking official or presidant of the country I have obligations to keep myself alive and not buckle to terrorist threats.
Of course if they go on and behead my daughter and I am a high ranking official, all bets are off and things are going to get really messy.
