I am 20 years old, and have been riding all summer. It really does seem to me that men are sexist pigs. We could say the same thing about guys on their bikes. I don't judge people by the way they look, but what they bring to the table. And as a matter of fact, girls can handle powerful bikes, all I ride are superbikes. I own a 1999 Honda CBR 900. Everything is always all a matter of opinion, but looks aren't everything. And remember people aren't always what you think, and would be very offended if they know you were talking about them. ADD: Like stated above Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder. Also I think everyone (that works or has worked) enjoys the right to enjoy motorcycles or other fun things, like 4-wheeling, cars, trucks, etc. Is it really hurting you to see other people enjoying themselves? My biggest problem and this is the truth, is seeing the people that don't work for it get it. Like using working peoples tax dollars to get something that nice. I say if you work for it you should have it. Whether or not you are "pretty" or not.

I think there is something really beautiful about A woman riding A motorcycle. I've seen A few in my area near Chicago. There is that strong and sexy vibe coming from those women. Good Times :):):)

I really wish I could honestly only say something positive, but I can honestly say that a lot of women only buy a brand / a look, not a bike that fits or that they can truly control.
When I was learning to ride, an old timer told me I should never ride a bike that I can't pick up. I see a lot of girls riding bikes they can barely keep upright; you know they wouldn't have a chance at getting it off the ground. I have seen women riding bikes that they cannot physically handle well enough to park... and I'm not exaggerating in any way.
Unfortunately, dealerships care mostly about the sale, not the safety of the rider & everyone that will share the road with them. The salesperson won't be in traffic when she tips the bike and jambs up the road because she can't get the bike up off the pavement.
I have a lot of respect for women who ride a bike they can control. There is a powerful, sexy confidence that comes with that... I don't care what brand you ride. But I have no respect and sometimes some harsh critisisms for the chics that pick their bike because it's the right color, the "right" brand, or the model all thier friends are riding. If they can't control their bike, they are dangerous and I personally don't mind telling them so.

I'm glad to hear from an other girl who rides.
I don't see a lot of us ladies riding. It seems that we are far and few between.
I have found a web site for lady riders though. You may be interested in.

I used to work for a motorcycle magazine local to my area. There are many women riding bikes. I like seeing them do what they love and they usually have some pretty nice motorcycles. Keep riding!

I've been riding for awhile now. I put myself through school, got licensed, and purchased a bike I can control. I love to get out as often as I can...I'm just sorry I didn't get to it earlier in life. I've noticed an increase in femlae riders in the Michigan area. It's great! As long as you follow the road rules, are responsible and get yourself home at the end of the day, ROCK ON!

Nothin hotter. Even large women with boots on (like the kind you see at Home Depot) if they have the initiative to ride they get my thumbs up! If they can ride on one wheel, well that elevates more than my thumb (sorry that was kind of tasteless but I'm trying to be truthful). Powerful women (who aren't mean!) are the most stimulating thing I can think of, but show the imagination and creativity not to act like men (be chauvinistic and exploitative).
I just LOVE that long hair blowing around under the bottom of the helmet, and the idea that I wouldn't always have to sit in front if we ride on the same bike.
