STAND UP TO THEIR ABUSE
Its a not-so-subtle way to try to put you down. Nobody can take away your honor without your permission!! So next time somebody drops a pen and you think they are making fun of you, either ignore them or say you have bad back and you cant - they will stop and eventually have more respect for you.
Stand firm, do not give in to blackmail and abuse!!

It must be hard to hold onto pens with the whips they are carrying around.... chivalry is great and I love it, ..but I don't
care for abusers of any ilk, the next time they do a pen drop in concert. Head for the restroom, with a pained expression.
