i did and felt bad about it after wards. So i confessed to my Dr. that i did. He said i had nothing to worry about because the baby was fully protected. Only being a few weeks. Until about week 11 or 12 the baby is below the pelvic bone which gives added protection. But week 11 or 12 the uterus start to come out over the pelvic bone and when most women start to show. So have fun.

Just because you are in your first trimester, does not mean you can ignore all the expectant-mother warnings in the park.

Most miscarriages occur in the first trimester, when minor traumas can jeopardize successful implantation and pregnancy development. This means you need to be extra careful during your first trimester!

Later in pregnancy, fast and / or rough rides can induce "pre-term labor," Although a pre-term labor does not automatically mean you will give birth to your baby prematurely, this could be a serious concern depending on how far along you are in your pregnancy, as it can result in various complications.

Another complication can occur if the placenta separates from your uterine wall. This usually leads to the death of the unborn child. An undiagnosed case of "placenta previa," (see sidebar) can cause a hemorrhage as the result of a separated placenta, which risks the life of both the baby as well as the mother. This can happen quickly with little time to get to a hospital.

For me, there is another simple reason to avoid high-risk rides: The actual percentage of attractions with recommended restrictions is small. Of over 50 attractions at Disneyland (not counting shows and other forms of entertainment), there are only seven that discourage pregnant women from riding.

Do not do this as the cord especially when baby moves the baby will do flips causing cord to get tangled around neck. Plus I knew a girl that went 4 wheelin up a hill. She thought that was fine to ride on back. 2 days later 7 months not fast moving but she said the baby was moving so much. It killed the baby. cord chocked it. So there are reasons and you should ask if you do not know just like you did. It does not make you dumb just needing to ask as your a smart person for asking and finding out why. I mean people can say do not eat hot peppers. But you can ask why they may give you bad heart burn but that would be a choose and a recaomendation not to but it is not harmful.. Soi asking why is so okay!!!

No, I wouldn't recommend it - I think the jerking and jolting could do something - I have no proof of this, but I think it's kinda common sense that you shouldn't do something that could harm a fetus...
