Hi,

I currently have a rover 216si - its MOT is due very soon as well as its tax, i've had it looked at before and it needs its ECU tuning and to add to that total a very nice person kicked off my wing mirror the other night, which on a rover can be quite costly and also is an MOT fail as far as i know.

So i'm thinking of cutting my losses and getting myself a ford focus, however - I am 17 at the moment, 18 next month - would it be possible to get a good deal? I am a web developer under contract for a few years, earning quite a good salary, is it possible to make a special deal to help with claiming finance?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks

Ford Motor Credit Corp has some programs that you may qualify for, however you'll have to wait until you are 18 years old. Lucky for you that you don't have a long wait.
Now would be a good time to start your research as to what kind of programs will be available to you next month.
You can do so at FMCCs website:
http://www.fordcredit.com/buy/index.jhtml
Please pay special attention to the following items (under the "Finance a Vehicle" tab):
First-Time Buyer
College Student Purchase Program
Flex-Buy
Finance vs Lease

FMCC does not approve financing to under 18 people but it appears to me that you may qualify for additional rebates/incentives/assistance next month.

Good Luck
