Michael Moore should thank God for the First Amendment. Oh wait, but if he did that he would offend himself. However since Michael Moore hates the US so much, should we just give him to France?

No. Michael Moore should be shot.

Given that he is an American exercising his American rights of free speech, an entrepreneur (film maker) creating products (films) that people are buying and enjoying and doing what he does because he loves America and wishes for a better America, why should he be deported? We need more Michael Moore's throwing constructive, entertaining light on problems in America. Who better to do that than real Americans born here, living here, and seeing what is going on in front of them.

You on the other hand seem to be doing all of the hating. Perhaps you should pack up and leave.

France does not hate the U.S., it does dislike some of our policies. Although I do not care for his work, people like Michael Moore are valuable--they make us think. That is why freedom of speech is so important.

Let him say what he wants. It is up to us to determine the truth. Hell, we let President Bush speak, don't we? God knows how much disinformation spews there.

Yes, and it's time to burn the books, replace the Bible on the pulpit with copies of Mein Kampf, and replace the crosses with swastikas.

Hitler had the same idea. Deport any scientist or artist whose ideas did not promote the welfare of the Aryan nation.

Didn't work out too well. For one thing, the Fascists expelled Einstein and Fermi.

So they couldn't develop long-range weapons needed to attack Russia. And they didn't get the Bomb.

But, for a brief period, they thought they were better off.

The problem with your idea is that there are now more than 200 million people in this country who are done with Bush and the Republican Party. They may not be as committed as Moore is, but they are getting just as angry.

We really can't all leave for France, much as we'd like to. There isn't room for all of us.

Thats right make sure you fall in line with the powers running the country and don't make any waves at all. I bet if you lived in Germany in the 1940's you would have been deporting Jews to the camps too.... just fall in line young man. I wonder what would happen if you had an independent thought?

You can't "deport" people from their own country. Dictatorships and monarchies "expel" people, but you can only deport people who do not have citizenship. But from your description it is clear that you really don't know much about Michael Moore's thought and you are just reacting to some media manipulation. I don't agree with everything he says, but to say he "hates the US so much" shows you really don't know very much about him.

It is comments like yours that puts me in awe of the Founding Fathers and their visionary thinking. Michael Moore is a perfect example of why they put freedom of speech as a founding tenet in our Constitution. You are probably in favor of censorship and book burning, too, huh? See, you have the right to decry him, and I have the right to decry you! Ain't that great? :-)

Michael Moore is hated by the wealthy elite and demonized by their propagandists because he consistantly represents a working class point of view in his films. That point of view often illustrates how the super-rich rape and abuse the underclass in pursuit of their own personal enrichment. This is exactly what his new movie does.

You're obviously afraid of freedom of speech, and any challenge to the status quo. Micheal Moore is trying to do something about the USA's many shortcomings. You Yankee neo-cons should be kissing his large a**.

The French would hate him too. The French may be arrogant and snooty, but at least they don't dress like slobs.

How would we deport Michael Moore? Does he really fit in a normal sized airplane seat? He doesn't look very clean. Wouldn't the other passengers complain? Would we have to airlift him, like King Kong?

How about deporting him to Cuba? Let him see what life and medical treatment is really like, not the dog and pony show he got. One thing for sure: considering the deprivation the average Cuban must endure due to Fidel Castro, maybe this is Michael Moore's dream trip. It would be like a stay in (an admittedly harsh) fat farm. He could finally lose weight, and maybe he'll learn the hard way that the good 'ol U.S.A. isn't so bad after all.

Well since he lives in the USA he has the right so speak his mind about this country. Saying that "we" should just give him to France is evidence that you have no clue what the Constitution is all about it. Read it and then ask yourself if he should be deported to France.
