Because you cannot impeach somebody because he is from another political party.

You can only impeach somebody for breaking the law.

There are number of reasons why George Bush has not been impeached and will never be impeached. The main reason is ignorance, stupidity and fear of majority of the Americans. When war with Iraq started, G. Bush was your hero. You people yourself due to your utmost stupidity and ignorance voted for him, placed him in power. You choose Bush over Gore then you choose Bush again over Kerry. You people supported this war until caskets with remains of your own sons and daughters started to come back home from Iraq. What is the matter, Bush and others lied to you? But you consider yourself to be the #1 nation in the entire world, the freedom and democracy leader. So how come Bush & Co. tricked you? Now your are bitching and crying to stop this war and to impeach Bush. You people live in a fairy tale in a Hollywood movie of good and evil with happy ending when good always defeats evil. Wake up America, turn off your electric coffee makers. Do not get yourself concerned that some guy parked in handicap space. Get concerned with real issues what happened to America and what might happen. Look around you, see and understand where you are now. Open your eyes wide, clear your minds. You thought that Democrats are good and Republicans are evil. You thought that good Democrats will defeat evil Bush & Co. like your movie hero Bruce Willis does? It did not happen nor will it ever happen. Most of you counting how many days and hours left for Bush & Co. to remain in power. You are looking forward to elect new "good" president. Do you think that Hillary Clinton will be better president than Bush? The answer is NO! Did it ever crossed you minds that there might not be scheduled presidential elections. Once Bush & Co. will start another new oil war this time with Iran, more likely this war will be the last war for US as there will be no US anymore. Empire will fall apart. Will you be able to survive without your TV remote controls, frozen food dinners and "lazy boy" chairs. What will happen to you and to your children? Superman, Batman and Bruce Willis will not help and save you. Wake up America before it is too late. Maybe it is already late... .

Even the most insanely liberal members of congress know that they will not be able to impeach Bush. Exactly what crime has he committed? Stupidity? Incompetence? Sorry, but those character flaws run throughout congress. Do you want to charge him with illegal wiretaps? You might not be able to prove that he broke any laws. What about lying about the reason why we entered Iraq. There are no weapons of mass destruction. Unfortunately, history shows that while the evidence was poor, all of our leaders, Democrats and Republicans, still believed that Saddam Hussein had them.

Sorry, but Bush is safe from impeachment.

Because the Democrats are either to spineless to try for it or are using him to tank the Republican party. The Republicans do not want to even voice an idea to impeach on of their own

For those who say Bush has not commited any impeachable offenses you are incorrect. He has violated Oath of Office and the Constitution itself with Patriot Act (suspension of habeas corpus..Article 1, sec 9 clause 2), he has exempted himself from the law. All of these are covered by the "Other high Crimes and Misdemeanors"

So while some cannot impeach just because they do no like him....you cannot avoid impeachment just because you do like him.

another shrill liberal cry.... Produce some evidence for which he could be impeached? "I hate Bush" is not a case for the courts. If there was a shred of evidence for an impeachment, Pelosi & co. would have gone there already.

To be impeached, you must first break a law, such as lying to a Grand Jury.

Because Congress doesn't have the votes to carry out that procedure. If they try and fail the damage will be greater than if they had never tried at all.

They have enough votes to impeach him, but not the 2/3 votes in the Congress to convict him! He should just quit and take Cheney with him, but you know what, I think he is going to declare martial law and suspend habeas corpus! He isn't going to allow an election! That is how sick he is!

He has committed many crimes do the research people!

Ten Reasons to Impeach George Bush and Dick Cheney

1. Violating the United Nations Charter by launching an illegal "War of Aggression" against Iraq without cause, using fraud to sell the war to Congress and the public, misusing government funds to begin bombing without Congressional authorization, and subjecting our military personnel to unnecessary harm, debilitating injuries, and deaths.

2. Violating U.S. and international law by authorizing the torture of thousands of captives, resulting in dozens of deaths, and keeping prisoners hidden from the International Committee of the Red Cross.

3. Violating the Constitution by arbitrarily detaining Americans, legal residents, and non-Americans, without due process, without charge, and without access to counsel.

4. Violating the Geneva Conventions by targeting civilians, journalists, hospitals, and ambulances, and using illegal weapons, including white phosphorous, depleted uranium, and a new type of napalm.

5. Violating U.S. law and the Constitution through widespread wiretapping of the phone calls and emails of Americans without a warrant.

6. Violating the Constitution by using "signing statements" to defy hundreds of laws passed by Congress.

7. Violating U.S. and state law by obstructing honest elections in 2000, 2002, 2004, and 2006.

8. Violating U.S. law by using paid propaganda and disinformation, selectively and misleadingly leaking classified information, and exposing the identity of a covert CIA operative working on sensitive WMD proliferation for political retribution.

9. Subverting the Constitution and abusing Presidential power by asserting a "Unitary Executive Theory" giving unlimited powers to the President, by obstructing efforts by Congress and the Courts to review and restrict Presidential actions, and by promoting and signing legislation negating the Bill of Rights and the Writ of Habeas Corpus.

10. Gross negligence in failing to assist New Orleans residents after Hurricane Katrina, in ignoring urgent warnings of an Al Qaeda attack prior to Sept. 11, 2001, and in increasing air pollution causing global warming.

Not to mention the current Libby debacle!
