Mahatma Gandhi , the Father of our Nation, declined official posts during his life time.He could have been the Last Governor General at the time of Independence.But he prefered to continue to serve the people till his last breath. No scion of his family ruled any time in India.
The mantle of the Prime Ministership of India naturally fell on the able shoulders of Pandit Jawahalal Nehru.When he died, the Congress Party elected Lal Bahadu Shastri as the second P,M. His early deathcreated a lacuna and the seniors in the Party wanted to enjoy mighty powers.Thanks to the strategy of Kamraj< Indira gandhi,daughter of Nehru and wife of FEROZE GANDHIwas made the third P.M.She continued till 1977.Due to excesses of Emergency she was defeated and for a brief period Morarji Became P.M.Later, Indira again won and became the P.M. In1984 the peration Blue star caused her life.Due to emergency, her first son Rajiv Gandhi reluctantly became the P.M.Tactics of the opposition
got his fair named dirted.His involvement in Sri Lanka affairs caused his life.That was in 1991.
In 2004 time was ripe for Sonia Gandhi to become the P.M. She declined the offer.
In 2007, no one could say that Gandhi family is ruling the coutry.
People miss the wood because of the trees! Let us not join hands with those who talk about dynasties and dynastic rule.

Till such time the surname GANDHI IS tagged to the names of dependents. In India, the common person is always duped in the name of democracy and governance. more so, after Mr. P.Chidambaram like Finance Minister's induction into the Government. It is indeed sad that someone got acquinted with Rajiv Gandhi to rule India from behind the scenes,the stage being set and managed by the CIA.Indians are generally simple in their ways of living and they do not need any extrordinarily brained person to lead them ; it is enough if you have bad and wicked ideas and Indians will soon start looking helpless and curse their fate.

Untill there is congress, gandhi will rule the country directly or indirectory. If the people don't want gandhi, they should finish congress.

Sorry, Gandhi never ruled India it is only the family of Nehru. Feroj husband of Indira being a parsi never wished or liked dynisity but her wife and the pedestors encahed the name of father of the Nation, sorry.............
