What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined together to strengthen each other in all things, to unite each other in all sorrow, to share with each other in all gladness, to be one with each other in the silent unspoken memories?
romance is not dead it is the idle mind of complacency that does not make the effort to appreciate how little it takes to
show a gesture of your love

seriously romantic like setting up a surprise romantic dinner--no.
but i still feel special and loved
often we feel bad if our partners are not the "romantic" type,
but mind you, romance is not a real sign of "true" or "endless" or whatever kind of Love.
I think "romance" is just the artistic guys' way for making his partner special. Unfortunately, most guys are not artists. So learn to appreciate the little things your partner does for you. Even the simplest. To some guys, bringing you a bag of cookies require a lot of effort.
If you want something "romantic" even once in a while, like i think we all do, tell him... or at least give him some hints. ^^

No relatively no longer. i like interpreting the Sunday paper and notice how couples are spending their 40 and 50 or maybe 60 twelve months aniversaries jointly. Why do you think of God needs us to bypass throughout the time of the relationship scene then. to discover that romantic spark that places a pair jointly interior the 1st place. are not getting romance puzzled with shacking up, hooking up or despite the youngsters right now call one night stands. That has no longer something to do with Love or romance. And we are able to blame the likes of Larry Flint and Hugh Hefner for that concern. Romance isn't lifeless in spite of the undeniable fact that it desires consistent interest from the two the guy and female to maintain it going. i come across it type of annoying to have self belief that one would not placed the comparable attempt into the marriage as they did getting in touch with somebody. and due to this maximum marriages are loss of existence and why Romantic comedy's save advertising tickets on the theatre. IUt's improve right into a dream and not a actuality to maximum human beings!

No, it takes two people to appreciate it and you need to take turns thinking the gesture is over the top. Being romantic can feel cheesy, it can sound that way as well but when it works it's worth all the daily rubbish we put up with.

Romance isn't dead, but many people confuse cleanliness, bodycare, and cologne or perfume with being a snob or homosexuality and somehow that is just 'bad'. It's like men are discouraged from using cologne or taking a shower because it's 'gay'. Women are treated like they can't be beautiful because it is showing off.

If you find somebody who is always clean and makes an effort for YOU. Wears a scent that they like, but they know you like as well. Asks you to do something and cares. Then hold on to that person.

Romance isn't dead, few people know how to do it right anymore and the rest of society opts out because it might involve reading books or poems.

Romance takes work if you are in a long-term relationship, after 2 years it can get stale, which needs a lil spicing up. Romance at the beginning of a relationship is easy, its set on cruise control because its new and the two people are working hard to impress. After a couple of years, the most impressing that occurs is which farts smell nastier haha! So my friends,it takes work, creativeness, and being spontaneous > not every nite but once in while to keep the fires going.

You´ll be the judge:

On the day of my Birthday, my partner of 9 years arrived at home earlier than me, had bought me flowers and a nice plant. I found an enormous box all wrapped with nice paper waiting for me and he had booked a table in out favourite Italian restaurant.

I think romance is not dead and is extremely important to keep the flirting up with your long-term partner!

Of course, most of the time we are al work and we meet back home for dinner, but that´s life!

You can't be romantic every day. It becomes too much after some time. But once in a while, it is nice to be romantic, or that your partner is romantic.

Bag of chips and an Iron Bru ! This is really your concept of romantic? If I were you I'd throw the chips in his face and pour the Bru over his head. You deserve more than that!

Well both my partner and I are really fortunate because we both are really romantic. My guy does everything to sweep me off my feet for example he would personally do a pedicure for me, cook a candle lit dinner, make me a cuppa when i return from work, help me tremendously with husehold chores so that I can pick my feet and relax, the list just goes on.....Oh bless him, my sweet darling!!!!
