Your countries flags?

If you had a chance what colour would you change you flag to or the design or what type of pattern would you have on it?

AND WHY?

I'm from Canada!! First off I would change the colors from red & white to blue & white; get rid of that maple leaf and put a darker blue star right in the middle instead. White & blue as solids would be good too, something like this http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z209/GodsMistake06/NF.jpg

The blue would represnt the 3 bodies of oceans that boarder us, the white will represent winter(snow, as we're known as "THE GREAT WHITE NORTH"), and if there was to be a(big) blue star in the middle that would represent us as one in the universe.

Why you ask? Because the 'Maple Leaf' is silly, and in away its kind of sissy to have a leaf as you countries native emblem. Do you not agree?

I would not change the primary flag, I did not earn it. I would only use that one for special occasions and institute a new secondary flag that appeals to more people. I would rather wear a shirt with a flag on it because I think the flag looks good than for some value caught up in it.

I would change it to a more symmetrical background because I think that a message needs to appeal to everybody and a balanced appearance is more acceptable than uneven distributions, organic backgrounds, or the three color bars.

I would probably use red and blue, mostly red because I happen to like the color and most of the other color combinations with red ( black or white ) have been associated with racism, whether warranted or not.

I definitely would add a screened image on the flag. I think some of the old japanese, russian, and some of the asian flags are off the hook. Patchwork squares, crescents, and stars are too hollywood or religious fanatic. I'd rather have the hammer and sickle than a lot of the current boring flags so give me a screened eagle on red with blue or black highlights or a shape that provides some dynamism and some balance.

I would change the Canadian flag to Yellow with a picture of a beaver in the middle instead of a maple leaf.

My country's flag is red, white & black & I wouldn't change it for the world.. it's beautiful just the way it is..

my country is wales so the flag is the welsh dragon!
i would change the dragon to purpley-red and the sky to navy blue /black with stars! just because it would look funky and better than red,green and white!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A SHINY SHADE OF BLUE WITH A GOLD LION ON IT.. SITTING !! NOT LAYING !! BUT SITTING DOWN LIKE MOST DOGS DO ALL THINLY OUT`LINED IN BLACK!! like a single stitch of black out-lined ... almost like a BLUE VELVETY or ROYAL COLOR , & one shade darker but still keeping a rich gold appearence in the golden arches in a leading fast food restaruaunt!
