Don't the people have the power to get rid of such an evil entity who's policies have led to America's breakdown?

Each day he stays in office, and each blundering decision he makes only ensures the democrats victory in '08. Why would anyone want him out of office now? The damage has already been done.

p.s. Cogito - Did you say the same thing when they were impeaching Clinton for lying about cheating on his wife?

Downfall huh, well let's see.

When he entered office, we were on the brink of a depression since we were fairly well established in a recession. Within 4 months, Bush started the economy flowing again.

We were attacked on a fairly regular basis throughout the past 25 or so years and more regularly during the 8 years prior to the Bush administration. today, how many have we had? None.

In the 8 years prior to Bush, the world was laughing at us more about the exploits of our leader. Now they laugh at us for the exploits of the liberals in Congress only.

In the 8 years prior to Bush, I had less money in my pocket than I do now.

Yep, if that is downfall, then I am all for it!!!

Get a clue and stop whining. If America is so bad, then leave. I would suggest China, Mexico, or France. I hear they are kicking.

Unfortunately ,the canny abilities of this administration to instill fear in the hearts of the people that every body in this world is aiming to destroy America has played perfectly to sustain the evil regime .War mongers and hate spreaders in the conservative media has served very well the cause of this administration.I think we all as good citizens of this great Nation must rise against the tyranny of this administration.Have you any idea how many people have been killed and how many have been displaced by the atrocious acts of crime against humanity commited by this president and his friends.About 500,000 people have been killed and about 3,000,000 people have been displaced as refugees. This certianly is no way to promote love and harmony between nations.War on terror has been converted to war of religions.I dont think any American with any sanity wants this.Choice is entirely ours.We can choose to hate and anhilate people of other religions, but remember this has never worked in the past and will never work now.
God bless this country .

This is an impossible question to answer;

There are elements of the constitution that allow for the removal of an elected President, however these are extreme measures that can only be implemented under extra-ordinary circumstances.

You state 'America's downfall' - however, from an observer's perspective, you would need to be specific and cite things other than Iraq or apparent inaction during the recent southern flooding or whatever.

It is unquestionable that America as a nation has seen its fair share of problems since the turn of the century, but it is extremely difficult to find examples of things directly attributable to the 'malpractice' of the current administration, or rather, the incompetence of your President (I am British).

Whilst I sympathise with your sentiments, there is nothing that I can identify as being concrete enough to oust your current leader. I agree he appears like a bit of a numpty, but that just isn't sufficient to kick him out.

America's breakdown

In what sense, you fruitcakes always make idiotic claims with no supporting data.

Unemployment is at an all time low rate, more new homes have been built under Bush than Clinton (and he still has 2 years to go) More money has been given out in government grants for education. And speaking of education we are finally starting to hold our educators responsible for their students.

Thankfully Bush will be gone in 2008. It's not worth the time and effort to impeach him. America has stood strong for 231 years so an idiot like Bush is a blip on the radar screen.

Only your opinion. America's breakdown started when they took prayer out of schools. Clinton's perverted the office with their escapades. I saw a show where young teen girls are giving oral sex to the boys at school and they believe they are still virgins. Bill said oral sex is not sex.

you anti-american whiners would say the same thing no matter who was in office. At least our leader was elected in... and we are honorable enough and law biding enough to see it through to the legal end of his term, giving him every chance to make a difference. There is no downfall whatsoever that isnt in your mind entirely

Why do jealous people always hate what they envy?

We are still here. We are not in ruin. Can you say the same for large parts of the middle east? We are not bowing to Muslims rioting in the street. Can you say the same for Europe?
