I used to spend hours each week reading magazines like Take A Break, Chat & Bella. The rest of my spare time was sat comatose in front of the TV. I can't imagine going back to those dark ages.

I have a creative imagination. I just sat and imagined the days of the internet to come and waited patiently for it. But way back then I achieved a whole lot more and got things done more quickly. Now I am addicted to sitting here answering questions like this and having fun doing it.

Comic books, watching cartoon and shows on the TV, and yes, listen to the radio. Every weekend without fail there'll be a 2 hour slot dedicated to playing all rock songs only like Bon Jovi, Whitesnake to the then newer bands. And sometimes going to the recreational park and plays till sun sets and i get bitten by mosquito.

I used to do arty things and make cards, read, play games with my kids. I still spend time with my daughter but the older ones do their own thing. I come on the internet when i have a couple of hours to spare, i'm not on it all the time.

Pretty much the same as you, although writing letters came into it too. At my peak, I had 80-100 penpals, now I only have a few but they get very large letters.
The magazine I read is a scientific one called BBC Focus.

I played outside, went to friends houses, rode my bike, helped out at a riding for the disabled center. Yes before the internet I was just a babe

I loved to read (still do) - I could spend the day lost in a good book, music on in the background. My evenings would be spent watching TV, usually complete crap.

I used to watch TV, and yet manage to get all my work done, and even get to bed early! Now I'm only on the internet and can't get get anything done!
