I agree that women do pay more attention to detail, so probably women make better chefs! :)

I think it is a fifty fifty type thing. I am a very good cook. I am a man. My wife, while she CAN cook does not cook as well as me. We have two totally different styles going. I season totally different than she does. And people who have eaten at the house when I am cooking actaully tell me hey this is soo good. What the recipe? While when the wife cooks people may say Wow this is good. But thats it. I have never heard them asking for the recipe.

Men.
Both men and women can learn how to be a great cook, but men tends to have a more adventurous streak and they like to do it with more flair.

depends. men usually cook fancy, special occasion meals better, but women cook simple and comforting foods for daily eating better.

i cook better than my wife. but most people i know, the women is the better cook.
