Price varies quite a bit, depending on the model. If you know the part number of the carb, you can sometimes find them on eBay for very reasonable prices. But, regardless of where you shop for one you need to know the part number.
To find the part number you will need the model number of the engine it came off of and then you can go to Briggs & Stratton.com and look up the carb.

I agree that a rebuild kit is a better buy and easy to do. But, if you need a new carb you can go to outdoordistributors.com and find you engine model. It will give you an exploded view of the engine including the carb. That will give you the part numbers that you need. On the same site, look up the part number and it will give you the price.

Well Jim, here's the trick--I have no idea what horse power what type of mount or zip. So -- since you have a computer why not try Briggs & S. and look up what you need--you can find it. Just a thought, not trying to make you mad.

10 to 15 dollars depends were you get from, alot of local independent people get more out of them so price could vary

why not just rebuild it the kits are inexpensive and theres not that much to those carbs
