I don't see why this is a big problem. If you can't get a visa then you can't get to Tucson. That's simple. So, you call the university and tell them that your visa didnt arrive and you will have to delay your entry until the Spring term.

It is too bad that you can't start when you wanted, but this is hardly a tragedy. Probably you can use the extra time at home working on your English and other academic skills and possibly getting some experience in a job or volunteer setting.

If this is the worst thing that ever happens to you then you will have a very peaceful life.

when a person has financial problems and can't get money toward their four-year degree we suggest that they take their education from a junior or community college for two years and get their associates degree and (AA) then transfer in their AA later on when they have the money toward a four year degree. Not all colleges do that but some do. I hear people all the time doing online,, but when you go to get a job the online isn't as strong as the classroom studies. Maybe you can ask a college which courses would transfer for you if you took them in your country at a college there. And then when you can get the visa again just finish up your schooling.

Have you asked the college if they could intercede for you to get your visa for you since you are a student there?

The best thing you can do is delay your admission to the next semester(spring). Call the admissions office and explain your situation and they will help you.
Only a few subjects offer online courses. Its better to go to class than take online.
