Oh my god!!! FInally someone shares my pain! I REALLY hate High School Musical its so lame! They go crazy over that Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa, Corbin, and Zac! What the heck? They aren't even kids they are adults! Plus they are making a part 2 and an Ice show! Please stop the madness!

I'm 11 and I agree with you. It's so... aaaarrrrgggghhhh!!! I didn't even wanna watch it! My friend made me sit down and watch it to try and change my view about it but it's made it worse!! I find it absurd and I haven't a clue why people like it. Maybe the songs hypnotise people and the people who don't like it are the people who are immune to it! Sorry. Getting carried away. I find it just WAY too CHEESY!!!! And it's really stereotypical.
To all the people who like High School Musical:
Sorry, but this is my opinion on it. Answer this question and tell everyone what you think of it. Again, sorry.

Oh my God, this is the question for me! I HATE High School Musical, and ALL my friends are crazy about it! I think it's the worst film ever made (okay, maybe not the worst), the "music" is crap: it's annoying as hell and those voices don't belong to real people, but machines who make high-pitched squeals.
The basketball song scene was painful to watch, and it's all topped off with the most American high school clichés in the world.
HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT.

I hate it SOO a lot specifically situations! Like every time I see the forged or the different Disney Channel celebrity on the front conceal of those stupid preteen mags like J-14, Popstar, Bop and in spite of else, it annoys me SOO a lot (My chum owns a TON of those T__T")! Disney Channel is gonnapersistent me insane sometime!!!! HSM has a terrible plot and, no, i'm no longer in basic terms saying that via fact i do no longer like it. It does. The ending became completely rushed! and how the hell have been they in a position to hack into the college workstation device and close down the electric powered device interior the health club in that short quantity of time or in any respect?? WTF!?!? Geez, it incredibly is how unrealistic and poorly accomplished the ending became! My gosh, the appearing became in basic terms annoying and the characters look so... fake. i comprehend, it incredibly is a action picture for youthful'uns, yet c'mon! It wasn't even large. The 2d one, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, became an progression extremely, i assume -Shaii

WOW you prolly should have mentioned that you where 20 sooner. thats really creepy , how old are your friends? lol , yeah I hate that freakin show especially the token black guy on it with the rats nest on his head, he is so annoying , trying to be will smith or something ..its just sooo annoying , and I have no clue why it blew up so big, im pretty sure none of em can even sing since they all actors....like 16 year old actors at that. just change the channel , or zone out when some one starts yapping about it.

omg, i hate high school musical. Its so annoying, thats all i hear from my freinds EVERYDAY, no,no,no,no,no stick to the stuff you knoooow, so flipping annoying!!!!!!!!! they all think it's the best film in the universe, but i LOATH it, i think its the wirst film in the world. And i hate jump in to, THE VOICES THESE PEOPLE HAVE! they can't sing at all, thats why i walk away from my friends when ever they sing it! this is the queston for me, IM TELLING THE TRUTH NOW!
All of them are saying "Zac Effron is the HOTTEST evar!" and i know thats not true, and the music is...is.......is to horrible to describe.

no i dont like high school musical. i dont like disney channel stars. theyre on my list and no one wants to be on my list. u know who's on the list so far? mcdonalds and disney channels stars especially miley cycrus who cant talk cuz she has an over bite or something and she cant harmonize. omgomgomgomg i looooved how u said "who cares" on that other guys question!

I hate them too.
I understand how you feel.
My friends in school talk about it all day long, and also sing and dance to it!
Whenever they do that, I will go crazy and ask them to shut up but they still continue. This gives me a constant headache!

I don't hate it... I LOATH it. it's a sickening waste of time. My head explodes when i hear my classmates singing one of those mediocre songs. You're right, i also think Disney's lost its touch...I mean, their original films suck; whatever happened to the classics???
