i cant put the pound sterling sign :(....i wish my computer or keyboard had it lol. silly question but im curious :).
personally, even though im american, i think the pound sterling sign looks cooler LOL.

I'm an American too. I always liked the looks of the pound sterling sign as well. It looks like you could hang a fancy cup from it....like I have fancy cups. I drink out of plastic cups...lol.

the $ sign is so violent! Its like a snake has been speared. It was also a bit lazy in creation, someone has just taken an S and put a line down the middle.
The £ sign however is more elegant and is oozing sophistication. It is very British! Also with those little licks in the curls and random waviness it is a sexy little symbol.

I can't really choose, but because I am not familiar with the $ sign I'd say I prefer the £ sign. Only because it doesn't confuse me lol! And pounds are worth more than dollars!!!

Pound of course, and my computer can't do it either which is annoying.
Have you noticed how similar the Euro sign is to the pound? I think it's because they envy us ... or they want to entice us in and they know it will be easier if we don't have to change how we write our currency down.

my £ sign is on my number 3. and $ number 4. I use pounds but would like to convert them to spend in U.S.A.
