Aloe vera barbadensis works best. But it is a mild laxative. Aloe vera pulp/juice taken fresh works best. Dont worry, it has numerous properties and all for the better of your body. You may safely take it provided it is fresh from the leaf itself. Do not buy the products off the shelf as they are not pure.

there are good medicines in homeoapthy for constipation. I have no specific experience with Aloe Vera.

If it is for a burn yes it works. It just depends on what you are using it for.
