So far this morning, and it's only 10.30am ish I've been hit by a car while trying to cross the road, not hurt but the cheeky madam swore at me!! (I was on a crossing and she was stopped initialy then drove into me!) Then I get home and my Parrott's dead, we've had him 15 years, I can't believe he's gone just like that, he was fine an hour earlier! If things come in threes what's going to happen next?

Thanks everyone, well most of you!Janna, that's a great way of looking at it. Coco was an Umbrella Cokatoo and should have lived for another 60 years at least so it was a huge shock but you are right we had a great 15 years with him.
To the morons, get a life! (you know who you are)

Quick update: when I was digging the grave for Coco I fell and cut my leg on the shovel!!
Oh well it's a new day now!
On the up side, both my daughters phoned and they've both moved in with their boyfriends who are really nice young men!!

Well, I woke up with wood and had to rely on Rosie Palm.
Then I was out of coffee so I ended up constipated.
So I don't know what the hell's going to happen next.
Oh, can I have a drumstick?

I know how it is to have a bad day full of stupid sad events , usually the chain of events stops when I get home but I am sorry this didn't happen with you , I think staying home will be less dangerous any way , though if it was ment to be it would happen no matter how you try , may be you will be staying at home because the bad thing is meant to happen at home , you can't escape you fate , Do you know what I mean ?

It was just a coincidence your parrot died the day you were hit...it was fifteen years old, so had a really good long life..you were lucky to have him that long...you were lucky not to have been hurt by the car. Look at it that way and you see you are blessed, not cursed! Nothing else is going to happen to you!! Don't be superstitious.

On Friday 13th (next week) you'd better have a duvet day!

ps - sorry about your parrot, from a fellow bird keeper.
