i have managed to set my second screen up so i can have that just for the singers. my logo is on the tv monitor, so i know that part is working, but when i play a song, it comes up on my laptop but won't apear on my second screen.

Select control panel (XP)
Select display
Select settings
You will see monitor one(primary display) and monitor two
Click identify to select 1 or 2
It also depends on what output you are using e.g.VGA or SVideo.

check to see that your tv is on the proper channel such as "line" or channel 3 if it is an older one. Test your video cable on other equiptment to see if it is ok. Are you coming out of an "out" jack on your laptop? I know these are all basic thing but sometimes it's the simple things that are not right.

you need to set it to clone the screens. At the moment it sounds like you have extended desktop selected.
Go into the settings for your video card and there should be options there on how to change it.

Seems like it is screening problem.
Which player are you using?
Try to clone display, as already said. If that wont help, then it may be program related.
