I don't think I can pick one. I 've seen some really bad driving by both, and I've seen both that are good drivers. I think it still depends on seperate people, how responsible they are and if they follow the laws.

See, the way it works, you need a male and a female to make someone that becomes a driver. So, if each does their part, neither is better. Now, the opinion of how the person performed while attempting to creating the driver, is strictly up to the other person.

Ping makes good driver...so does Callaway.

Men vs. women......men for getting there (although I've seen my share of 'Danica Patricks' on the road) women for "trying" to be safe drivers.

Some men and women are better drivers than others.

Depends on the individual. I know some men and women who are pretty good drivers just as well as I know some men and women who are hopeless behind the wheel...

Women as they are a lot more observant and are not as reckless.

Although, my IT teacher's always complaining that if you're ever stuck in a traffic jam, he would be happy to place a bet that it's a woman at the front causing the obstruction. Don't agree.

Athough, if you put it into another perspective, it's usually male drivers that are involved in accidents and crashes. I'm not saying always but more than women. If you don't agree, sorry, but I have to stick up for my side!

Men obviously do because at no point would a bloke drive whilst applying make up or checking his hair out in the mirror or ogling the dishy roadworkers in the middle of the road. The worst things blokes do is look for any chance to overtake, fiddle with the radio and ogle all the top totty on the pavement. Umm, so to answer your question, who knows!

honestly I think both are good in their own ways - but insurance prices would indicate that women are!

I think most women - but definately not all - are more patient when it comes to driving and suffer less from road rage - whereas some men have high levels of testerone flying and therefore would be more prone to loosing it under stressful situations!

Also there are of course the boy racers to take into accounts - there are of course girl racers too - but these are in the minority - here in Ireland, the majority of accidents and deaths on roads are those of young men driving zupped up cars.

I dont think theres a definate correct answer to your question - and Im not saying women just coz Im one - but I do think we are - slightly!

xx

It all depends on the PERSON, not the persons gender. Male/female has NOTHING to do with driving skills...I've know some pretty horrible drivers, from all genders, ages, ethnicity's, none of it matters but the person behind the wheel.

Depends on the person driving, I don't think your sex alone can really affect your ability to be a good driver. It depends on the persons ability and common sense.

men probably -although when they do crash, they tend to really mess things up. They are naturally more singularly minded and concentrate on one thing at a time. My bloke is so focused it is amazing he manages to speak and change gear at the same time. Women are genetically programmed to think about more than one thing, so do become distracted more easily..(I am talking generally here!)
Having said all that, I still drive more smoothly and with more patience than he does.
It is testament to the lower cost of womens accidents that comapnies like Diamond have been set up only to accept women.
