If he is from the Islands, why doesn't he talk like the Rasta brothers lol. He talks more like the guy from the clear eyes commercial lol.

Because "Rasta" isn't associated with the British Virgin Islands or the US Virgin Islands. It's like asking why don't people in New York speak with a Southern drawl.

In fact, it wasn't until 2003 that "Rastas' were even allowed in the British Virgin Islands. The law keeping them out was repealed in 2003.

Tim is from the US Virgin Islands and is a US citizen from birth. The US Virgin Islands isn't a "foreign country".

although he was born an raised in the us virgin islands, tim duncan hasn't the slightest accent that i can detect. some people suggest that he just might have a slight speech impediment and is painfully shy. but his fans, and that sure includes me, love him. what a wonderful role model for all kids. swell human being. need more tim duncans in this world and less aggressive big mouth jocks.

he is from the Virgin Islands, if you know people from the islands they will tell you not all of them have accents like the Jamacans do. Most people from the Virgin Islands are pretty bougie!

wrong island, he is from the u.s. virgin islands not jamaica. plus he is a well educated college graduate. He does still have a laid back island tone to his vioce despite little accent

He is from the U.S Virgin Islands(Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands) and it's part of the U.S,and he went to collage in North Carolina (Wake Forest University).
