I just bought a Kenmore 5300 Air Conditioner a few days ago. installed it and used it for a few days. now it's making sounds like there's water stuck INSIDE of the A/C making some weird noise. I wonder if it's normal? or did I not install it correctly on the drain thing? I don't have the plastic thing on the drain thing, can that be causing the problem?

I assume you're talking about a window unit. It is perfectly normal for the water to collect inside the unit. Some unit's are designed to use this water to assist in the cooling of the condenser coils (the coils that feel hot outside)via a "Slinger Ring" which picks up water and slings it into the coils. As the person who answered before me suggested check to make sure your drain plug is clear. While it is normal to have water in the unit, a clogged drain port or an incorrectly installed window unit could collect to much water and drain back into the house. Make sure that the install is correct. Checking to make sure that the unit is completely level in the window.

Check for packing that was to be removed and wasn't. It may be blocking the drain hole.
