Well, now I've learned that gelatin is made out of horse hooves. If I didn't learn that just now, I wouldn't have learned something new today, so there ya go.

To make you feel better, gelatin USED to be made out of horse hooves. Now there are many sources that make up gelatin. The vegan kinds are made of guar gum and carrageenan, while the non vegan kinds can be made of fish bones or protein from beef.
